An episode tag for Suns and Lovers. With bondage. Better yet, reciprocal bondage.
Intreat Me Not to Leave Thee
Nov 11, 2007
Followed by Part Two and Part Three.
I am so incredibly uncomfortable with Spock’s actions in this probably-never-to-be-finished WIP, but I like it enough to recommend it anyway. There’s a certain attitude in some BDSM stories that the end justifies the means—that is, as long as the sub comes around to the dom’s point of view, it makes it okay that permission was initially refused. Which, no. And especially without any prior relationship, no. But despite that, I like this story and wish the author would finish it.
The glimpse of young Jim Kirk’s sexuality was really interesting, as were the lives of the fictional filmmakers.
Out of Sight
Nov 10, 2007
Followed by Obvious Place and Open Blade, all by Magus Minor.
There’s an equally good and somewhat lighter follow-up trilogy by Ellex, composed of Predator, Shiver, and Frenzy.
Presents a very disturbing picture of what might be lurking under John Sheppard’s affable charm.
But it’s only a question of time until he loses it again. Until the knife comes out and he - there’s a scream from the speaker. He jumps, sits up, stares at the screen. This is the best part.
This is - better than porn. And he supposes he should feel guilty. But he can’t quite manage it. Because it gets him so hard. It makes him come like nothing else he’s ever had, and in his more lucid moments he hates that about himself. That something where not even one of the participants takes their clothes off is better than the best ever blowjob.

Atlantis
This is actually an AU of an AU. The original stories by Xanthe are linked at the top of the page, and you’ll want to read them before you read Helen’s fic, because it won’t make complete sense without them.
I debated with myself whether to recommend Xanthe’s stories as well, because I did enjoy them, but ultimately I found that the light tone of the stories, in contrast with the subject matter, made me just uncomfortable enough not to.
Your Inevitable Unhappy Ending

Atlantis
John falls in love and Rodney uses a baby to get women. Only so much better than that sounds.
Starlight
Jun 14, 2007
The Silmarillion
And its sequel, Thrice for Honour.
Starlight is actually gen, though rated R for violence and mature themes; on a winter night, strangers arrive seeking shelter at Maglor’s camp. Thrice for Honour is slash, and contains graphic BDSM sex, as Elrond is initiated into a set of Noldorin sexual rites.
Protocol

So very AU—crackfic at its best. There isn’t really any BDSM or non-con, but there are flavours of both.
My lame summary-writing skills aren’t up to tackling this story; you’ll just have to read it for yourself.

What if s5 Angel had involved Angel keeping Wesley as his own personal sex slave? What if Spike joined in? What more would I really need to say to explain why this concept appealed to me?
And what more is there to say about why I’m recommending this?
Passionate Productions

AU where Clark takes up a career in “private fantasy fulfilment” to earn some extra cash.
“Long story short, I got the job,” he told her. “Well– if someone picks me out of the catalog.”
“Oh, they will. I’m sure they will. That’s so cool, Clark! I knew you could do it,” she gushed enthusiastically, as if he’d just told her he’d made the Dean’s list.
“He looked at my dick,” Clark complained.
“Really? That’s so surprising coming from a pornographer.”
He didn’t have to see her to know she was rolling her eyes.
Corner of the World

Long, long WIP with a full ensemble cast, including some original characters. I found the beginning a little rocky, especially the first story, but the quality improves dramatically quite early on. Despite various major and minor alterations to canon, the series remains faithful to canon events.
As the Night the Day

Also Clark/m.
“I wouldn’t have pegged you for a sci-fi geek.”
“Geek?” Lex sent Clark a smoldering look. “You do know who you’re speaking to, don’t you?”
“Lex Luthor, sci-fi geek?”
AU with Clark as rent boy. Some things may change, but Lex is just as fucked up in any universe.

This isn’t a story that’s easy to summarize, so I’ll let the author do it for me, as I so often do:
This story grew out of my wish to respond to the seemingly endless number of stories revolving around the topic of slavery, especially those that focus on breaking or torturing a person past their point of resistance. Sometimes reading those becomes excruciating, since so many seem to revel in a concept that I find personally abhorrent, when put into reality: removing all free will from a person, and destroying their spark of individuality. And worse, few investigate the process involved in surviving (let alone healing from) such an experience. So I decided I would.
Part of the bleakness will be as the back-story becomes clear. Expect physical abuse, violence, torture, and possible squick situations. Also expect gallows humor, surprising light-hearted moments, and behaviors that make no sense from a rational point of view.
It is not a pretty picture. And the simple fact is that I can’t necessarily promise a happy ending in the traditional sense, where everything ends up back to ‘normal,’ because I can’t find anything in the medical or psychological information that indicates that a person – after surviving such an intense psychological breakdown – will ever be truly ‘normal’ again. You’re also going to read a lot of questions raised by performing such a horror, and the two main characters will also be raising ethical questions about their own roles in the recreation of an individual. Some of their positions and conclusions may surprise you, and some may upset you.
I’ve done a great deal of research for this story, and I’m trying to stick to as realistic an extrapolation as possible. Now that you’re braced for impact, I will assure you that I believe in the strength of a human being to come up with a way to fight even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. To paraphrase Trowa’s words in the first chapter, none of the characters in this story are going to go gently into any damn night.
This story is less romantic or sexual than psychological, but it’s none the worse for that.
Busted On Christopher Street
Mar 30, 2006
Given the dearth of RGBS fanfic out there, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the only one with BDSM, albeit only mild bondage and spanking. The plot’s a little shaky, but Egon makes a good sub, and we get to see Peter actually using his psych degree.
There’s a sequel, Long Time Coming, that taked up where Busted On Christopher Street leaves off.
Love’s Bitch

I honestly thought I’d read everything at Cici’s site long ago, but I would have remembered this story. Very nice Spike narration. Very mild Dom/sub; fisting.
Second Verse
Feb 27, 2006
AU. Xander and his family move to L.A. after his freshman year of high school, but you know Xander is a demon magnet in every world.
There are a few things that really bother me about this story, but there are also a lot of things it does right, and make it a very worthwhile read. I’m really not a fan of any mystical plotlines that use words like ‘childer’, and the abusive aspect of Spike and Xander’s relationship turns me off. On the other hand, I loved the scenes at the club, and Spike’s initial interrogation of Xander was great.
There’s a sequel, Musical Wars, but it doesn’t live up to Second Verse. There’s less plot, and more mystical mumbo-jumbo, which interests me not at all. Still, it does sort of tie up some loose ends. I wouldn’t recommend it for it’s own sake, though. Although I liked some of the scenes with Angel.
Post-Grad

S4 AU. After graduation, Xander finds himself at a loose end and somewhat abandoned by his friends. Some bondage.
Like so many of Te’s stories, I find this series not-quite-believable but incredibly fun and addictive and well-written. And the weirder aspects of the story work for me if I think of Buffy as a comic book rather than a TV show. Honestly, the series is worth it just for the snark.
Leather in Lawnville
Feb 1, 2006
BDSM warning for bondage, mostly.
Can a leatherman find happiness in the suburbs? This series follows the adventures of a suburbanite with leather boots and a hidden hanky.
You know, one of the things I love about this author is how well she writes in the first person. Her character in this story has an incredidbly unobtrusive narrative voice. Only two stories so far; Clothesline is very good but Spontaneous is much better.
Invisible to See
Nov 30, 2005
Officially my third-favourite Harry Potter story. Great characterizations, intriguing plot, fantastic writing.
This story branches off after GoF, which is fine by me since I didn’t enjoy OotP much anyway. Draco, after having left to join the Death Eaters, abandons Voldemort and returns to Hogwarts. Unsurprisingly, none of the students who are left are overjoyed to see him back again.
Draco is his usual obnoxious, caustic self, but his inner thoughts and vulnerabilities give him a measure of charm. Neville is perfectly wonderful, and very cute.
