Honestly, there are things I love about these fics and things I hate. They hit some of my intimacy kinks really hard, but they’re also way too sentimental for my taste. The series is also crying out for at least oe more installment, with some fairly important future developments left hanging.

Still a good read, though!

College AU. Patrick and Jonathan are friends, but only because they have friends in common, not because they actively like each other. Patrick is a student trying to commit to a major, happy to just spend life in peace, and Jonathan is on the hockey team, fighting to get his big break but not missing out on any parties in the progress. A seemingly meaningless kiss begins the slow unravel of their denial, helped along by Jonathan’s teammates and Patrick’s Spanish roommate.

A bit sappier than I prefer, but I really loved some of the supporting characters, especially David. I enjoyed Kane and Toews in this one, too.

Cute, rather touching story, especially Pat’s relationships with his sisters and with Sharpie. I wish it had been beta-read, because there are a few POV issues, but not enough to spoil the story for me.
