Clark is more devious than he lets on, and Lex has to pick a side.
“Sucks to be you.” Lex sighs and drinks deeply, the lines on his pale face rewriting ‘blase’ as ‘exhausted’. He leans back against the bar and looks around. “So where are all the hot bikini girls you promised me?”
“It was a shameful lie to lure you here.” Clark grins around a mouthful of foam. “Sorry.”

Written as a prequel to Resonant’s Transfigurations (see my recommendation.) It would probably be better to read that story first, but this will still make sense even if you don’t.
It was A.J. Hall’s Lust over Pendle which first made me fall in love with Neville, and he’s still one of the most underused characters in HP fandom. Yay for Neville fanfic!

Oh. my. God. This fic is so amazingly, perfectly Ray and Fraser. Set early in the series, after Eclipse and I Coulda Been a Defendent. As good as most due South slash is in terms of characterization, I’ve never seen Fraser and Ray more in-character than they are here.
I reload and look around. “Can you tell where they are now?”
“I’d be more effective without your irksome commentary.”
“*What*? Fraser, I can’t shoot them if I can’t *see* anything!”
“Is there an afterlife authority I can report you to?”
More bullets. I crouch lower, belt off six rounds into the blackness just to feel the gun firing in my hand. “What the fuck are you talking about, you stupid freak?”

Duncan and Methos. Year: 2018. Location: supermarket. I don’t know about you, but I’ve never read a story by Julad that I didn’t like.
