College AU. Patrick and Jonathan are friends, but only because they have friends in common, not because they actively like each other. Patrick is a student trying to commit to a major, happy to just spend life in peace, and Jonathan is on the hockey team, fighting to get his big break but not missing out on any parties in the progress. A seemingly meaningless kiss begins the slow unravel of their denial, helped along by Jonathan’s teammates and Patrick’s Spanish roommate.
A bit sappier than I prefer, but I really loved some of the supporting characters, especially David. I enjoyed Kane and Toews in this one, too.

Cute, rather touching story, especially Pat’s relationships with his sisters and with Sharpie. I wish it had been beta-read, because there are a few POV issues, but not enough to spoil the story for me.
If Eric Staal is going to hit on him, Jeff is going to hit on him back.
