Based vaguely off the manga ‘Wild Rock’. Caveman fic (or early tribesmen if you want to be technical). Where Stiles from the Argent tribe is out one night hunting and is captured by the rival Hale tribe’s Hunter Derek, who decides to relieve Stiles of his burdensome virginity. Stiles is okay with this.

College AU. Patrick and Jonathan are friends, but only because they have friends in common, not because they actively like each other. Patrick is a student trying to commit to a major, happy to just spend life in peace, and Jonathan is on the hockey team, fighting to get his big break but not missing out on any parties in the progress. A seemingly meaningless kiss begins the slow unravel of their denial, helped along by Jonathan’s teammates and Patrick’s Spanish roommate.
A bit sappier than I prefer, but I really loved some of the supporting characters, especially David. I enjoyed Kane and Toews in this one, too.
Short sequels are It Makes an Ass of U And Me, Making Summer Plans, As Important As Hockey, and A Great Guy.
In this AU, Patrick Kane has to quit hockey at 14 when his parents can’t afford to pay for it anymore. When the series begins, he’s living in Chicago and working at a CVS, earning (barely) enough money to make it through school and pay for his apartment. He still loves hockey, so when Jonathan Toews walks into his store one night, he recognizes him.
This series is amazing. Wonderful. Awesome. Lovely writing, great characterization, nice attention to detail. The slow build of Jon and Pat’s relationship is great.
The changes in Pat’s life that make this story AU have changed his personality in clear ways, but he’s still recognizably Pat Kane in other ways. One of the things I like about the series (and which becomes explicit later on) is the contrast between the ways Pat is different, and Jon isn’t, since his story hasn’t really changed.
This series is not yet complete, but each story stands well on its own. (I read the first story before the second was posted, and it wasn’t clear to me that the story was only the first in the series–though I was incredibly happy to find out that it was!)

Four-part high school/college semi-AU. The guys still play hockey (high school, college, and NHL), and some of the details of where they play are completely true to life. Link is to the series page, go there for summaries of the individual stories.
I like all the stories; they’re all well-written and interesting, with believable characters. I think my favourite is the second one, Nothing Worth Knowing, because I like and sympathize with this Ryan Kesler even when he’s being a jerk.

I like hooker AUs when they’re done well. This one is. I only wish it was much, much longer. Warning for non-con only because one of the characters is a prostitute.
Ryan Kesler doesn’t mean to pick up a hooker. Really. Set in a universe where Andrew Ladd is not an NHL hockey player.

Modern AU. Merlin, a diabetic, is stuck in an elevator with Arthur when he goes into insulin shock. After that, he can’t get rid of him. The details about what it might be like to live with diabetes seemed accurate to my very limited knowledge, and they made the story more believable and far more interesting.
High school AU. Alex is a Russian exchange student who turns Sidney’s life upside down.
I have a few caveats about the writing of this fic–it would flow a little better if Sidney reflected less on everything everyone says and does–but otherwise it’s very good. It’s written from Sidney’s point of view, and the Sid in this story is my favourite Sid, who knows all about hockey and nothing about people. That kind of narrator is always fun to read, because there are so many things he doesn’t understand that are obvious to the reader, which makes many of the sitations he finds himself in so much funnier.
