Modern AU. Merlin, a diabetic, is stuck in an elevator with Arthur when he goes into insulin shock. After that, he can’t get rid of him. The details about what it might be like to live with diabetes seemed accurate to my very limited knowledge, and they made the story more believable and far more interesting.

Long, somewhat plotty modern reincarnation AU wherein Merlin rooms with Prince Arthur at St. Andrew’s. Excellent writing, with really funny dialogue and some fantastic UST. It reminds me a lot of Drastically Redefining Protocol, for obvious reasons, but it’s still very much its own story. The first scene, where Merlin and Gwen meet on the train, got me smiling and I didn’t stop all the way through. Go read it and then join me in hoping desperately for a sequel.

Nimueh, a Hollywood producer and getting a little bored with life, creates a television series based on Merlin and Arthur’s lives…and suddenly a lot of old monsters start coming back to life.
I wasn’t thrilled with this story at first; it wasn’t until Arthur woke up that I really got into it, but when I did, I really enjoyed it.
