Haldir is captured by Men. Mostly pre-Lord of the Rings, but a younger Aragorn does appear in the sequel, Love and Duty.

The link is actually to Implacida’s main Tolkien-fic page, because Heart and Body has several parts and is the first in a series. I particularly like the banter with Legolas in Love and Duty. Although the Elvish warriors in that story always remind me of the Theban Sacred Band.

And Figwit (a.k.a. Melpomaen) has a starring role in The Moon and the Night Sky, which could actually stand alone but is far better if you read it as part of the series. (Don’t know who Figwit is? Go here - it’s hilarious!)

Haldir and his brothers have some slightly incesty moments, but they don’t really lead anywhere. Unfortunately?
